CAN I HAVE A CUP OF $15.00 GAS?

Someone with a gas card deal replied on another blog of mine that we cannot hope the government will fix our gas woes. So I wonder who will? $15.00 gas has been mentioned in the media.

Perhaps we will form citizen bands to pass gas from the refinery in cups down the interstates. We could all stand a few feet apart to cut the transportation cost. We could also get genetically engineered to siphon Hydrogen out of the air with gills so we could afford to stand there. Reverse umbrellas could act as water gathering devises so we can have a cool drink as we pass the cups along.

I feel this is more sensible than letting government, big government, charge us or whatever it does for its services. Unless government is killing people or locking them up it’s of no use. Sure. I believe that! It is everyone for themselves unless wealth’s way of privileged life is in question. Then we are all in this together, thank you that big government. Calling all suckers. Get ready to syphon.

If all goes well I will be rolling in money, become a big success and not worry over energy cost. I will have the last laugh. Then I will make shares in my corporation public. Wow! Your pain will be my gain! Hurray pain, hurray!  I suppose I will be pro pain then.

FEAR AND PARANOIA RULES

FEAR AND Paranoia, they easily spread like wildfires. This truth, especially as it applies to men, has had the USA both use atomic weapons on another nation, and willing to start a nuclear war over the positioning of nuclear weapons during the Cuban Missile Crisis. We may like to point our fingers at nearly every contrary interest in the world as being dangerous, but when it comes to real WMD use, it is the good old USA that has shown its willingness to use them against other human beings.

Right. When we are at war, we do not consider the other side to be human beings, so that opens up this notion of wiping out your opponent. We are not the first nation or tribe willing to threaten genocide or obliteration of their enemies. Humans throughout history have done to others what they would not ever wish upon their own. This is exactly the problem!

These days we are building the equivalent of concentration camps, but for whom exactly? What worse case scenario are some planning for? Is this not like weaponry, that if someone builds them, they then look for reasons to take advantage of their assumed advantage?

How often is this kind of opportunist mindset, resisted indefinitely? We used atomic weapons right off the bat! And you are to feel justified that we did! Now why would not this kind of rationalization apply to other human beings as well? Well, it so happens it does, as we discovered on 9-11. 19 losers of a sort, allegedly changed the metric on conflict and all our rights being rendered conditional, into a kind of quasi martial law that lets the executive do whatever it wants.

Who knew our history of freedom and standing up for freedom could be rendered mute so easily? We have a new set of violations to the Spirit of America that have more or less gone under the radar. Since we have now established that “appearances” are used as an excuse to trump actual election tallies to completion, we now have a faux or designer pseudo democracy. One where a vote count within a few million can be exorcised with a political party biased court in place. We have already seen how easy it is to overthrow democracy from within, and how safeguards to most institutional abuse are now removed when one party decides to act as if it were to be the one party state!

DEALING THE FEAR DECK

We now have in place, those who do not care what legacy of all of our history they destroy in the perverted name of defending it. We also have a fourth estate and other institutions who will go along with the destruction of freedom, in freedoms name. The nepotism, crony ism, corruption, and incompetence expected when these sorts of conservatives, yes conservatives, decide to save freedom from itself, is blatant today right here in the good old USA. We have seen the willingness of leaders who care not what their actions produce in the world any more than those who drop atom bombs on other nations, for expedience sake of course.

So we are led to speculate on the next scenario possibly being conceived to swing the election from a public that will have its eyes plucked out metaphorically speaking, and so left to the hands that pull their ignorance around their own heads as if it were a gift from God. The blind will and are leading the blind, and nary a one can or will do a thing about it. We have created an authoritarian bank account here in America, all those deposits are going to go to some risky scheme some time.

It is quite possible that Iran is being set up to coincide, like the other attacks and warnings, with the electoral process in the US. We have seen how what is called patriotism, or rallying around the leader and the leaders associates, is expected and usually delivered by a stupefied and frightened public. Indeed, we could say that all the boisterous, and jingoist pandering as occurred before the Iraq war, will be greatly facilitated by a corrupt and compromised corporate forth estate. Who are highly vested in the status quo, as well as US supremacy, no matter how misguided or historically deaf and dumb the blundering investment will be. It is running on a delusional fantasy, with our ankles tied around its lead weight along side the ship of state.

We will also see the usual right wing sycophants with their bull horns, trying to keep any contrary truths out of view, or have them tainted with ad-hominem venom, to poison the public from exercising their critical thinking abilities, and otherwise, act like a cult ready to swallow the cool-aid.

We are being frisked by fear at the gas pump. The soaring prices will be met with other prices going up across the boards, while income dwindles. Corporations have the right to pass on their expenses to you. You have no such right! Hum? How could this set up to rob have happened? So called Free Enterprise? Know who actually gets the prise?

That some pols have the conservative candidate so close to the less, speaks to the lack of light going into many hearts, minds and souls. Under this shadow this Memorial Weekend, while we honor those who gave their lives for our right to be free, those who hate freedoms full expression, will speak of its glory and triumph. This, while those who live under the pale light left visible in the USA, see the glistening of barbed wire points, unwinding above fences around newly constructed internment camps. Who are these for? You may well find out soon enough.

STUNNING, JUST STUNNING

The party that gave us K Street; now has some of those same nefarious characters involved in its presidential campaign.

K Street was an unprecedented campaign to get rid of one of the parties in our alleged two party system. As I remember it, corporations that donated to Democrats were to be punished for their “errors” of judgement. This contempt for democracy is said to be back in the ranks of the bumbling but can not be blamed John McCain’s bid for Bushes third term.

While McCain’s main critique of the presumed Democratic nominee Barack Obama, is that he is naive and inexperienced, why is someone so experienced as John McCain, hiring on such highly questionable characters, many involved with foreign governments and lobbies that would quite possibly compromise foreign policy decisions to be? He does not need to answer that further, since he just announced that no one on his staff is to be a lobbyist. But since it was his style or choice so far, what has actually changed? What promise is there for the future? I know. Take his word on it. He suddenly changed again. Get over it. But Barack is responsible for what his ex preacher said, and his wife’s comments taken out of context? Both of those seem inherently less important to the nations interest.

America, the USA, has just endured a group of predatory opportunist who viewed the great American commons as their own feeding ground. Will Bushes third term holder now be beholding to all the compromised characters he seems to keep surrounding himself with? Will America fall victim again to fear and jingoism wrapped up in their security blankets of blind trust of “conservatives” who thrive off of perpetuating insecurities?

You know where help us if these shysters get back into the drivers seat once again. We and the world may not be able to contain their drunken driving skills.

SHE’S ALIVE!!! SHE’S ALIVE!!! + still in the race?

Alloyed from ambition and a strange mixture of desire, the fabricated political creature refuses to unplug the run to the submerging goal post. Will the electro-shock to come prove to be therapy or synaptic overload?

Pointing to the constellation of stars as a sure sign of latent success; she counts on racism, reverse sexism, and the more easily manipulated less educated whites, as the grounds for her superior posture for leadership.

This is her claim to fame, her voice found after so many years of wandering alone in the deserted graveyard of public attention. Powered by that concept she once exposed that she was even her husbands key to the presidency, the inevitability of her own delusions have cleared the haze of reality out of her way, and left many a super delegate absorbed in reading the headstones.

Will this bad scifi flick end in the fairy tale world of husband and wife presidents, setting an unbeatable president that even shames the Bush family’s sorry legacy?

Now it is we who are instructed to accept her reasons over any greater hope for realities.

This is the future kids; declining incomes and declining quality goods, but big incomes for savvy business people who know how to work world systems and inequalities.

Remember which political party likes to keep we the public with our blindfolds on when it comes to inequalities, the commons, environmental responsibility’s, and the responsibility’s of those who use the world way more than their share.

Remember, cause the so called party of the people is succumbing to the same money shams as the other one, the one that uses wedge issues to cover their trail. If you do not know what I am talking about. Turn on your light.

THE BARACK OBAMA AND JERIMIAH WRIGHT exchange=+or-?

Barack’s biggest problem seemed to have become the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. The connection was seeming to have been built up into a possible downer for Obama in the future. It seems to be producing negative results as most conflicts do. The resulting schism seems to have possibly removed the future connection as a viable ammo stash. The days events may have in ways been orchestrated. Lot’s of possible seems.

These facts remain; super delegates are still only trickling in, more to Obama than Clinton since Pennsylvania. This time in the campaign may become a moment where Barack’s shoes were soiled, and with the aid of the Rev. Wright, were made good to go into the election.

It remains to be seen if the hidden prominent subtext of interracial misgivings, will come to be a most deciding factor for a significant segment of the population. Not that male and female will not also become a similar, unspoken factor for some in the booth, if traditional rolls become a reactionary guide.

During political contest; what seems obvious might be the desired result, but not a benefit to whom it first seems. Meaning; in time, a seeming negative of the moment may become a historical positive for someone, thus not the result it at first seems to be. (I have restated my original sentence in the post since it led to too many loops open to those not following my chain of thought. Thanks for your feedback, and I hope you are not even more lost after this “correction”.)

SINCE GAS HIT $10 A GALLON

HELLO END OF THE ROAD!

I wonder if we will get socialism all of a sudden when gas hits ten dollars a gallon? Will we all have to start bike riding and walking 15 miles to work then? I doubt if I will get a raise to cover the thousand dollar a month transportation cost.

Could it be they will nationalize transportation, so the poor and left over middle class could still afford to travel to clean and care for the homes of the very well to do? Maybe we will go back to the walled in estates with servants quarters. Or horse lanes along highways. Will a buss pick up hitchhikers? How about horse pulled little trains.

When gas is $10 a gallon, I guess we will all need gardens very close by. The cost of shipping most everything will have become outrageous. Will those rich or righteous right wingers still call everyone not like them whiners and losers? When the government has to intervene just to keep people alive and not dropping along the road or the sidewalk, will the conservatives still call helping them socialism; the welfare or nanny state?

We will probably find the victims of run away conservatisms greed and fear based economy, being blamed by them somehow, when gas hits $10 a gallon.

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE WITH?

WATCH THE NARRATIVES SPROUTING THAT SEEM TO TAKE HOLD IN THE SOGGY MIDDLE OF THE FIELD OF THE POPULATION.

We have the population poised for mindblank.  Fill in the synaptic connections.

We will forget who got us into the mess we are in as a nation. Fear will turn this mushy swishy middle voter, into fallen over once upon a fear fence leaner’s.

Unfair. May I repeat, unfair and out of context story-lines will be created. Good people will seem sinister, the swishy swashy middle fence sitters will tumble to the side spewing the most vile and veiled innuendo. Its weight pulling them as if by cause of reason.

It happens every time!

Works like a charm!

“Did you hear who so and so really is? Shocking!”

They suggested we were tired of the mud, the out of context and ground up truth made into voodoo dolls, but the needles stick every time!

Sure the confident “polar opposites” may be unswayed by the manure spreader, rightly or wrongly. It is that mind-crunched middle, musing over who knows what; a certain word or concept focus groups have found to be a sword, a hammer, a bullet, who knows. They will make up that confused and ambivalent mind of theirs, or sit out until someone tells them what to think, a friend or family member? Then they will feel the power. Their vote will become pointed, like a weather vane into the breeze of localized mind zeitgeist.

With a heart of wind and metal, they will become; the decider. They may receive a little sticker after that, saying, “I VOTED“, as if that actually meant something to be proud of in their instance.

Then they will return to their field with outstretched arms and funny hat; hay sticking out from their cuffs, hoping against hope, to keep the thoughts from landing in the field and consuming all of their confusion. In this mission they will, until next harvest season, or a fall burn-off, be quite successful.
